this site is hosted at 2 online and 1 offline locations:

the website started on Netlify, with a custom domain (shoutplenty.tk, then shoutplenty.uk), and i later tired of dealing with domain name price-gouging, so let its canonical url become shoutplenty.netlify.app, which is the form you’ll see links appear in around the internet. its cdn was initially Discord, until that was closed to public access around the end of 2023, at which point it was migrated to Backblaze. a mirror of the website has been hosted on the newish Cloudflare Pages service since early 2025, at shoutplenty.pages.dev, with the offlined version directly deployed with no changes, and more obvious media urls courtesy of the built-in cdn. the Cloudflare version should be faster and more reliable, since Backblaze is a bit of a weak link, and it has unlimited bandwidth. for these reasons, you should prefer to link to it than to the Netlify version. of course, the fully-offline version, at around 105MB, loads instantly and will always be safe from takedowns

libel policy

Cloudflare is a well-known protector of free-speech, and abides by the following general abuse policy. libel can therefore be dealt with via legal injunction. since i and many others are too poor to afford lawyers, i am responsible for offering a libel remediation process. the following policy applies to all content published here, or in any of my tweets or other websites

all claims are not deliberately dishonest, and i put in a lot of effort to back up claims with hard evidence as much as possible. owing to the nature of social abuse, speculation about accused parties is inevitable, and i try to always measure it to the situation at hand, and post legitimate-use analyses for disclosed private data. if you feel i fall short on any of these aims then i will remediate your claim. note that interpretations of unprovable claims do not qualify as libel

everybody is entitled to proof-call any claim, and will get a response and correction where i deem that necessary. claims that are struck are marked as having been struck, rather than silently deleted, and claims that are broadly true but misleading will have corrections added to them (and retweeted, if on twitter). if i turn down your appeal around a claim that is about you, then you are entitled to provide a rebuttal, and i will inline it next to the claim as long as it is not patently false

this policy has implicitly applied since the start of 2021, and is a necessary part of clearing my conscience on social abuse, and showing up the differences in approach, honesty and transparency between myself and those who routinely libel me or turn people against me behind closed doors
